NES
The NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) was Kid Icarus' console of origin. It was also Nintendo's first home console. It featured an intuitive "D-pad" on its controller, something that has been carried over to every Nintendo home console since. Also on the controller were the A and B buttons. The NES had two controller ports, which enabled multiplayer for two people. Like most consoles at the time, the NES ran on cartridges for media storage.
Appearance
The NES was rectangular in shape. It featured a Power and Reset button to the left.
Kid Icarus
The only Kid Icarus game on the NES was the original.
